Once inside the reserve, you'll enjoy a slow-paced game drive, keeping watch for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and the incredibly rare sable antelope. The forest is alive with bird calls and rich, green canopies that stretch endlessly over rolling hills.

Mid-morning, stretch your legs and head out on a guided hike to Sheldrick Falls. The trail winds through a cooling rainforest where butterflies flutter through shafts of light and the sounds of the forest grow louder with each step. After a short trek, the falls appear—25 meters of cascading water pouring into a natural pool below. There's time to rest, take photos, and even dip your feet in the cool, clear water.

After the hike, you’ll drive up to Shimba Hills Lodge or Shimba Green Lodge for a well-earned lunch surrounded by panoramic views. Relax, enjoy the serenity of the hills, and let the forest air rejuvenate you. There’s time to soak in the peace before heading back towards the coast in the late afternoon. You'll return to your accommodation as the sun begins to set, bringing a perfect close to a day filled with beauty, movement, and wonder.
