Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the luxurious Villa Rosa Kempinski. Enjoy an evening at leisure to unwind after your journey, and dine at one of the hotel’s exquisite restaurants.
Day 2 & 3: Samburu National Reserve
Journey into the heart of Samburu National Reserve with a scenic drive to Soroi Larsen Tented Camp, where your adventure begins. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting the rare Samburu “Special Five”, before unwinding with dinner by the campfire. The next day, experience an early morning game drive, followed by a visit to the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary to witness vital conservation efforts. After lunch, explore a Samburu village, immersing yourself in the rich local culture, before ending the day with another thrilling wildlife encounter.
Day 4: Fly Back to Nairobi
Enjoy one last game drive in Samburu after breakfast before being transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken back to Villa Rosa Kempinski for another night of luxury. The afternoon is yours to explore Nairobi and visit the Giraffe Centre or relax at the hotel.
Day 5 - 7: Lamu Archipalego
Experience a three-day escape to Lamu, where history, adventure, and tranquility blend seamlessly. Begin with a flight to this UNESCO World Heritage site, followed by a scenic boat transfer to Manda Bay, where you’ll unwind on pristine beaches. On Day 2, set sail aboard the Tusitiri Dhow, a luxurious traditional vessel, exploring the Lamu archipelago through snorkeling, fishing, and cultural visits, before dining and sleeping under the stars. Day 3 invites more serene moments on the dhow, indulging in water activities, fresh cuisine, and the timeless beauty of the Indian Ocean—a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.
Day 8: Return to Manda Bay
After a morning sail and breakfast on the dhow, return to Manda Bay for your final night in Lamu. Spend the afternoon at leisure—explore more of the island, indulge in spa treatments, or enjoy water sports. Your stay at Manda Bay concludes with a special farewell dinner.
Day 9: Fly Back to Nairobi & Departure
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Lamu Airport for your flight back to Nairobi. You’ll have access to a dayroom to freshen up and relax before your international departure.
